New Jersey Senate Bill S.1264 – Proposed legislation to require licensing and providing regulatory authority for the Commissioner of Banking and Insurance to oversee foreclosure consulting activities, debt adjustment and credit counseling was introduced by Senator Shirley Turner on February 21, 2008.
